WEATHERIZATION PROGRAMMATIC CONSULTANT
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Weatherization Programmatic Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. As a consultant, you will play a crucial role in advancing Strategic Partner, Grantee and Sub-Grantee weatherization initiatives, ensuring compliance with program guidelines (technical, programmatic and fiscal), and optimizing energy efficiency for residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding strategies, implementing best practices, and achieving sustainable agency and energy goals. Curriculum development and public presentation opportunities will be available. Partnering opportunities with state and national organizations such as VACAP, NCAP and NASCSP.
Compensation Package:
$75-80,000.00 in annual base salary

Multiple paid days off, such as State or Federal holidays.
Responsibilities:
Assess current weatherization programs and initiatives to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of weatherization efforts.
Provide expert guidance on program compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Conduct thorough audits and evaluations of weatherization projects to ensure quality standards are met.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline processes and maximize program impact.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and policies related to energy efficiency and weatherization.
Assist in curriculum development and teaching via webinars, conferences and classroom settings
Requirements:
Proven experience in weatherization programs or related fields, with a strong understanding of energy efficiency and program principles.
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing weatherization programs.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful weatherization strategies.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
Strong skillset with technology and programs (ie Word, Excel, TEAMS, iPAD, etc.)
Relevant certifications or qualifications in energy management, building science, or related disciplines preferred.
Up to 60% overnight travel required
